Tier 1 Visa

We know a number of people that have gone to live and work overseas quitting the UK for good. They had to apply for visas for the countries that they eventually went to live in and a points system was in place which had to met, by each every one them. It`s the same for immigrants who want to live and work in the UK as they will have to obtain a visa before they can settle in the county. A Tier 1 Visa is issued as part of an immigration scheme and they are aimed at highly skilled migrants, entrepreneurs, investors and also foreign graduates who have successfully completed their studies here in the UK. Like in other countries a points system is in place for the Tier 1 Visa and 75 points have to be obtained before the visa can be granted. Anyone that thinks they qualify for the visa will have to meet set criteria from one of four categories. Highly skilled migrants will score points on the system as will business types who are willing to invest in the county by setting up their own business. They will need to have a certain amount of disposable capital as well that is held in bank or other financial establishment. Investors that can make a large financial investment into the UK can also be eligible for a Tier 1 Visa. Finally students on post-study work in the country can apply for one of the visas. Although many people move from the UK to start new lives abroad plenty of others want to take up residency in the country.
